~ A Novel ~
Henry V, King of England, whilst on campaign to claim France as his birth-given right, learns of a plot against his life that alters the course and halts his crusade. Even as thousands of French soldiers hunt for his head through the unknown terrain of a foreign land, it is the threat from one of his own, which stirs the rage within him.
Traveling through France on a mission with greater meaning beyond his own existence, Harry must protect his own life, including that of his men, claim the French crown with marriage to Princess Katherine, and hide a life-threatening illness that may bring doubt in his ability to maintain his own crown and lead a prospering nation.
'O God, Horatio, what a wounded name,
Things standing thus unknown, shall I leave behind me!
If thou didst ever hold me in thy heart,
Absent thee from felicity a while,
And in this harsh world draw thy breath in pain
To tell my story.'
